Repertoire Requirements

Please determine the appropriate division according to your age as of December 15th, 2019.

All repertoire must be memorized unless indicated otherwise.

Unless specified in the repertoire requirements, no repeats are to be taken. However, D.C. & D.S. should be taken. When specific editions are recommended, participants must use those editions. If no edition is listed, please use modern editions, avoiding heavily edited editions.

JUNIOR (Age 13 and under)

• Ferdinand Carulli: Fandango from Airs Nationaux, Op.73 No.2

• Any contrasting piece of your choice, not exceeding 6 minutes

Intermediate (age 16 and under)

• Ernesto Cordero: Xochipilli, from Pequeña Suite
  (Les Éditions Doberman-Yppan, DO 886)

• Any contrasting piece of your choice, not exceeding 6 minutes

SENIOR (Age 19 and under)

• Manuel Ponce: Sonata III, Movement 3 - Allegro non troppo

• Any contrasting piece of your choice, not exceeding 7 minutes
