Regarding the Carol Honigberg Piano Young Artist Award:
Applicants must reside or attend school in the Midwest (North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio).
Applicants will be notified of their advancement to the live round by January 15th, 2020.
There will be a performance for the Young Artist first place winner, details TBD.
Please determine the appropriate division according to your age as of December 15th, 2019.
All repertoire must be memorized unless indicated otherwise.
Unless specified in the repertoire requirements, no repeats are to be taken. However, D.C. & D.S. should be taken. When specific editions are recommended, participants must use those editions. If no edition is listed, please use modern editions, avoiding heavily edited editions.
